Old places, New faces

Objectives. Clearly state what your plan will be.
My plan is to carefully photograph Texas'  country. I really have enjoyed Commerce's small town feel and rich history. Growing up in the city has really made me appreciate a slower paced lifestyle as well as the scenic country sides. I would like to capture nature, and commerce's small town life. Some how I would also like to contrast these images with the city in which I had grown up in.
Method. Clearly outline how you will carry out your plan.
Cooper lake is very peaceful this time of year and it has various sites filled with different kinds of wildlife and shrubbery. Just outside of commerce, there is farmland and old buildings. I would like to incorporate those ideas into my photographs as well. Downtown commerce is full of history, the buildings are wonderful in how I would like to portray my sideshow. In contrast, I would like to photograph the Dallas skyline and take photo's of construction and streets.  I would like to portray and create a presentation based on city vs. country. Not an environmental piece, but simply exploring both types of landscapes and how each one has it's own pace and beauty.
Influences/Inspirations. Pick at least 2 photographers who have done work similar to your project (either in subject matter or style) and briefly discuss their work and its relation to your plan.
Ansel Adams- he works with different types of landscapes. I am interested in exploring the makeup of a texas country landscape.
