Final Critique: make sure you are taking notes during your final.  You will need to write about the strengths and weaknesses of the images that you presented at final critique.

The strengths of my photographs were: contrasts in colors, and the choice of lighting I used to work in. The library photograph is the best example of the choice of lighting and the composition and position in which I took the picture.
The contrast of colors stood out in many of my photographs, the leaves in the pond was my strongest in values and tones of different colors.

The weakest photograph was of the cropped hand with the ring. The ring was to dominate to really show the texture of the skin that I wanted to portray. I should have focused more on the skin and less on the ring. The other photographs I had a difficult time on knowing and decided where to crop, this is apparent in the photograph of the guy leaning on the rail, if I would have backed up to get more of an edge to the photograph his hand would have not looked like it was leaning on the edge of the page.

Slideshow

Strengths and Weakness:

One of my weaknesses in the slide show presentation was not sticking with one idea. I had too many ideas that I was trying to convey that my point got lost. Instead of choosing the country side or choosing old town architecture, I chose both. What also hindered my presentation was the music, the words were too graphic. The words acted independently and the viewers had a hard time concentrating on the photographs.

My strengths were the images. The buildings and the time of day helped many of my photos to convey my points. The light played a big part in the selection of the images, this helped to select the strongest of the images that I produced.
